Initially hired Polanco Brothers to replace exterior rotted wood on my townhouse. I was so impressed by Kevin’s fair estimate, responsiveness and quality of workmanship that I hired them to do renovations inside my home. They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and worked with me even as I made several changes during the renovation. Painted whole interior of the house, updated stairwell, updated Peninsula island and installed new ceramic tile floor, installed recessed lights throughout the house. I would highly recommend them, and would use them again.

The Polonco Brothers did a fantastic job on a few projects at my house. I had a water leak from my roof that was fixed by a roof company but the damage from the water created mold in my guest bedroom closet. The Polonco brothers were able to remove the mold and finish the closet like nothing had happened. Another project needing attention was my ceiling in the master bedroom was coming loose from the beams. They were able to nail the ceiling back up to the beams and were able to repaint the dark charcoal bedroom. I had them do 1 wall an accent wall, a pastel green with vertical wood evenly spaced and the other walls white. The room is completely transformed and they worked very professionally and respectfully. I am very happy with the room and their work. I would recommend them to anyone else and would have them come back instantly.

Polanco Brothers did a beautiful job with our new tile floor. They came when they said they would, were courteous, but most importantly completed the job meticulously. I would highly recommend.

Kevin and his team did a major remodel of my master bathroom, including marble tile work. The work was perfect, detailed and of highest quality. He constructed an entire shower stall with a niche and a bench. He and his team were professional, friendly and timely. They painted walls and ceilings, did cabinetry work for me, reset my French- doors to my outside deck (that another contract installed incorrectly) did the back splash in the kitchen, they measure and hung all the blinds in my home, they power wash the house. Kevin and his brothers installed a new vanity with backsplash, replaced light fixture, fixed the flooring and painted my powder room. It looks beautiful. They also installed a subway tile backsplash, faucet and filter in my kitchen. Also beautiful! They installed a new storm door and also painted my foyer. The Polanco Brothers came as a recommendation and were able to turn a rough design sketch on paper into a beautiful artistic accent wall (covering two floors) with the use of moulding and a new coat of paint. In addition to carpentry and painting, they fixed multiple areas of drywall damage. Effort was made to protect all areas as they worked and my NW DC home was left as clean as they found it. The Polanco Brothers were a true god send. The brother’s really did an amazing job. They updated our tiles in the bathroom, all electrical work, changed fittings in kitchen and painted. This is some of the many things they did. On top of that they are just nice, wonderful, efficient, pleasant brothers who are thorough and conscientious. I truly recommend them. Polanco brothers have been helping renovate my entire home; we started in the backyard and progressed to inside the house. I made a to do list for each room in the house and they have been executing my ideas and have also made some excellent suggestions themselves. They have done it all - ripped out wall to wall carpeting in order to install wood flooring, installed a new sliding glass door, added lots of moldings throughout, replaced worn out faucets, added electrical outlets, installed new baseboard and door frames, painted the entire interior, installed drapery rods, hung the curtains, done ceramic tile in kitchen and bath - they have done it all. I am fussy about things in my house and they have been a pleasure to work with. The quality of their work is very good, they are trustworthy - have had their own key to the house and worked on projects when I was unable to be present. They continue to do yard work for me and have spray painted yard furniture for me. Kevin and his brother have become valued friends and hopefully will always help me maintain my house and yard.

Great work! Kevin and his crew were quick, clean, and great at what they did. I had them replace a ceiling, add some lights, and fill in a doorway. They noticed some messed up drywall in the room they were working in and filled it in for me. They were very respectful of my home and took their shoes off every time they walked in the house without me even asking! I couldn’t believe how clean they left the job site even if they were coming back the next morning. I’ll definitely be using them in the future.

Very good attention to detail and quality, which I really appreciate as someone who does a lot of renovation work myself.
